Pentecost

Whenever I read or hear the Pentecost passage below, I picture the scared and bewildered look on the face of the Apostles, the Blessed Mother and disciples. My name is Brother Dan Korn, and I am a Redemptorist. We are the priests and brothers who carry the Gospel to the poorest and most abandoned across the globe. We are connecting people to Jesus through Mary.

St. Alphonsus Liguori, C.Ss.R. founded the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, known as “Redemptorists,” in Naples, Italy in 1732. Redemptorists strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, by preaching the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned. The Congregation began as a response to the spiritual needs of the abandoned poor living in the rural, mountainous areas outside the city of Naples.

May Our Mother of Perpetual Help watch over you and protect you throughout the New Year.

In Jesus and Mary,
Brother Daniel Korn, C.Ss.R.
