Serving the World’s Poorest and Most Abandoned

The Redemptorists of the Denver Province is a congregation of priests and brothers dedicated to preaching the Gospel and serving the poorest and most abandoned worldwide under the protection of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Since our founding in 1732, by St. Alphonsus Liguori, Redemptorists have been spreading the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned around the world. The Redemptorists of the Denver Province focus their work with the poor throughout much of the United States, Brazil, Nigeria and Thailand. Since 1866, our work has been performed under the protection of Our Mother of Perpetual Help through her miraculous icon which graces our shrine inside our mother church in Rome. More recently, through the Internet and this website, we have been able to present more than 10,000 prayers each month before the original icon in Rome.

As trustees of the icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Redemptorists oversee the spiritual formation of seminarians to preach the Gospel to more than 70 countries across the globe. We live and work among the world’s poorest and most abandoned to deliver the mercy and hope of Christ through various ministries such as mission preaching, retreats, and novenas.
